Approx Data migrated from Google Workspace: ~ 200 GB

Approx project duration: 16 weeks

Project execution date:   Sept-Dec 2021

Business Problem:

Acuity merged with another company Catching Clouds which was also using Google Workspace. This made it difficult for them to manage both Google Instances at the same time. Also, they were using Smartvault as their document management system which they were looking to replace with Google Drive.

Technical details:

Evonence helped Acuity migrate all the users’ emails, contacts, and calendar events from Catching Clouds to Acuity. All the user data was migrated from Google Workspace to Google Workspace using Cloudm as the migration tool. We also migrated all the document library from smartvault to Google Drive which was later transferred Shared Drives.

Benefits of moving to Google workspace:

Consolidating two separate Google Workspace accounts helped them manage these users efficiently and securely. Moving all users to shared drives improved their productivity to a large extent.

Customer Testimonial:

I am the CTO for a national cloud accounting practice, www.acuity.co and we merged with another business last year.  We needed to merge LastPass, Slack, our cloud accounting apps and our Google Workspace users, email, and data to the Acuity Google Workspace.  This included data from SmartVault as well. Plus, we needed to do some cleanup on the Acuity Google Workspace; cleanup users, security, and upgrade the licensing to Enterprise.

So I interviewed multiple partners and selected www.evonence.com.

They were very responsive thru the sales & licensing process, then consistently responsive and hit all of our weekly deadlines.  They used a few tools on their side to migrate the email and data, all of which worked great and validated by our team.  They helped with a security review and a number of Workspace best practices.

Not everything went well with the merger of applications but the Google integration went as well as I could have hoped.  I have engaged Evonence for a support contract and am looking forward to their support all year
